There was a time when the only place to drink in Neutral Bay only Sydney’s Lower North Shore was The Oaks. Times have changed. There have been a few little bars and wine bars that have opened their doors and our favourite’s ‘The Local Bar’. This Sunday we kick off Local Cider Sundays @ The Local Bar. What does that mean? $5 Batlows, DJs, Batlow Cider cocktails from 3-7pm. Get down early as it fills up quick!

The Commons in Darlinghurst was recently rated 5th best bar in Sydney by SMH! Quite a claim! We reckon it’s got a whole lot to do with their Cider selection. Anyway, for the rest of Summer and for a few weeks into Autumn we’ll be co-hosting Pork & Cider Sunday Session at The Commons. We hope to see you down there for a tender pork sandwich or a full rack of ribs, accompanied by a nicely chilled Batlow Premium Cider..Cheers!

‘This one is just apples, no added sugar and no other additives. It has been produced using an amalgamation of table apples such as Pink Lady, Fuji, Braeburn, Royal Gala and Granny. It pours a light straw hue and has a clean, fresh aromatic apple character. It’s incredibly fresh, slightly earthy and quite dry on the palate. This one provides a delicious and authentic cider experience.’
